Name: Lancelot Door: "Sometimes wrong is relative." Canon: Granblue Fantasy Canon Point: After the Divergent Knighthoods event Age: 27 Appearance: image History: Lancelot at the Granblue Fantasy wiki Personality: - Inadequate. Lancelot feels a great sense of inadequacy, in both his occupation as a knight and as a person. Forever feeling unworthy of the titles and epithets bestowed upon him, while normally an admirable trait - it gnaws at the centre of his being and underpins his behaviour. He knows that he knows little and is permanently making up for his flaws, his lack of skill and his past mistakes even though he has no real need to do so. - Dutiful. Has a strong sense of duty. He reveres his country, believes in his friends without a shadow of a doubt and wants to embody the ideals of a knight until his last breath. Would happily die for his king and country and implicitly trusts them, to his ruin. - Naive. Related to the above. Despite his apparent "genius" on and off the battlefield and his competency as a leader, he often falls back to those he trusts implicitly - almost to his ruin. This is apparent when he trusts Consul Isabella to the point of being blind to her scheming until made to see the error of his ways by the Captain. He is easily misled, and though he's better at it now... he's still pretty bad. - Scatterbrained. He can't keep his room clean or his cat fed. His vice captain and best friend Vane is also designated the cleaner of Lancelot's room. Similarly, he forgets to take care of himself and has a tendency to overwork. - Intelligent. Deeply intellectual both on and off the battlefield. He enjoys learning and studying. He learned swordcraft from an old master who lived in his village with Vane and committed to it even though it was just him and Vane learning it. Similarly he joins the crew of the Grandcypher to broaden his horizons. Finally, he has no problem with difficult concepts and his room is a disaster zone because it's just books everywhere. - Mischievous. Lancelot has a playful side to him, which comes out towards his friends more than anything else. He also enjoys playing small pranks if he can get away with it. He also often goads his fellow knights into small contests while they're out drinking. It's never malicious, he just gets bored. - Personable. He finds it easy to engage with people in a manner which draws them to him, through a combination of humility and a genuine belief in people's goodness. Lancelot does not have a magnetic personality, but rather radiates a sincere charisma which allows you to believe what he says - because he believes it. He is good in raising the morale of his troops this way. He stops to talk to people during his rounds round Feendrache and his patrols on the Grandcypher. Gets a lot of chocolate during Valentines Day because of this, as an aside. Powers and Abilities: - Frost magic. What Lancelot initially is known for, he has the ability to control frost and water magic. While he is no mage, he is able to infuse his attacks with ice and rain deadly icicles upon his opponents. - Wind magic. He is able to invoke the powers of the sky to assist his blades. While hinted at previously, it became confirmed in the latest story event. He is able to manipulate wind currents and flurries to again, make his foes regret challenging him. - Twin blade mastery. He is able to dual wield his weapons, a sword and a dagger in a unique style specific to him. It goes without saying he is an adept swordsman to the point of being able to create his own individual style. - Leadership. Lancelot is captain of the White Dragon Knights of Feendrache. With this he knows how to command an army of knights, how to do tactics and how to politic. - Acrobatic. Lancelot is noted for his for his feats of acrobatics on the battlefield, being able to zip about the battlefield as if he was flying in the air. He is able to jump off his best friend Vane's halberd to go beat up people. Inventory: - His pet cat, Mute - His twin blades, which is a sword and dagger pair - His White Dragon Captain armour.
